1. Who we are

VeriPlate Ltd("VeriPlate", "we", "us"). We are the controller of your personal data. Contact: info@webcircuituk.com.

2. What we collect

Waitlist: your email address, the quantity you are interested in, and whether you agreed to marketing. Orders (once live): name, delivery address, email and payment confirmation (card details are handled by our payment provider, never stored by us). Vehicle data: the VIN, number plate and model that an administrator links to a tag. Tag taps: a timestamp and the tag code, with no phone or personal identifiers stored. Technical logs: IP address and browser data kept briefly for security.

3. Verification documents

When orders open we ask for photos of your V5C logbook and your driving licence. We use them only to confirm that you are the registered keeper and that the VIN and plate match. These are sensitive documents: we store them securely with restricted access, never use them for marketing or sell them, and delete the images within 7 days of completing verification, keeping only a record that verification was completed. We may keep them longer only where the law requires, or to deal with a fraud or legal claim.

4. Why and our lawful basis

To run the waitlist and contact you about launch (consent / legitimate interests); to fulfil orders (contract); to verify tags, your documents and prevent fraud (legitimate interests); to meet legal obligations. Marketing emails only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Who we share it with

Service providers acting on our instructions: database hosting (Supabase), website hosting, email delivery and payment processing. We do not sell your data. Some providers may process data outside the UK under UK-approved safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

Waitlist data until launch plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete it. Order records for 6 years for tax and legal reasons. Tag and vehicle records while the tag is in service and 12 months after.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and to object to processing. Email info@webcircuituk.com.. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Cookies

We only use essential cookies (for example admin sign-in). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
